In the spring I had the chance to make a camper conversion from a T3 Bulli. We tried to recycle as many parts as possible, as asked by the committent. Due to the wide variety of skills and knowledge in different fields (electricity for domestic use on a van, woodwork etc) it was a challenge.
Its a very tiny space, the task was to make it liveable for three people. I came up with a draw-out Bed and an open space to keep the feeling of a small room to it. I included a wood cealing to give it a much more natural sensation. The kork in the kitchen protects the surface underneath and gives the space a much more pleasant aesthetic. All the service devices have been refurbished by me, from re cabling it to arranging it functionally within the small space.
